JAKARTA, JP- Terdakwa perkara dugaan tindak pidana korupsi dalam Pengelolaan Keuangan dan Dana Investasi oleh PT. ASABRI (Persero) pada beberapa perusahaan periode tahun 2012 – 2019 Bachtiar Effendi divonis 15 tahun penjara.
bertempat di Pengadilan Tindak Pidana Korupsi pada Pengadilan Negeri Jakarta Pusat Kelas IA Khusus, Selasa (04/01/2021). Terdakwa terbukti secara sah dan meyakinkan turut serta melakukan tindak pidana korupsi.

Disebutkan bahwa sidang turut dihadiri Jaksa Penuntut Umum (JPU) pada Kejaksaan Negeri Jakarta Timur.
Selain itu, Majelis Hakim dalam amar putusannya menjatuhi hukuman membayar denda sebesar Rp. 750 juta dengan ketentuan apabila denda tersebut tidak dibayar diganti dengan pidana kurungan selama 6 bulan;
Juga memerintahkan terdakwa untuk membayar uang pengganti sebesar Rp. 453.783.950 dan jika terdakwa tidak membayar uang pengganti paling lambat 1 bulan setelah putusan pengadilan yang telah memperoleh kekuatan hukum tetap, maka hartanya dapat disita oleh Jaksa dan dilelang untuk menutupi uang pengganti tersebut, dan dalam hal terdakwa tidak mempunyai harta benda yang mencukupi untuk membayar uang pengganti, maka dipidana penjara selama 4 tahun.
Barang bukti berupa dokumen dipergunakan perkara lain dan barang bukti uang, aset bergerak maupun tidak bergerak dirampas untuk negara diperhitungkan untuk menutupi uang pengganti dan yang tidak dapat dibuktikan di pengadilan dikembalikan kepada yang berhak;
Atas putusan Majelis Hakim tersebut, baik Jaksa Penuntut Umum maupun Penasihat Hukum Terdakwa menyatakan pikir-pikir. (JPc)
