MANADO, JP – Pemberitaan salah satu media online yang berisikan keluhan warga berinisial AR terhadap proyek drainase di Jalan Hasanudin 19 Tuminting Kota Manado tidak bermanfaat, dibantah sendiri oleh yang bersangkutan.
Kepada jejakpublik.com, AR mengaku tidak pernah menyoroti soal drainase tersebut.
“Saya tidak pernah mengeluh soal pekerjaan. Yang saya keluhkan adalah air PAM,” ujarnya.
AR mengaku dirinya mengeluhkan belum terlayani air bersih dari PAM. “Pipa PAM yang tidak jalan ke rumah warga masing-masing. Itu yang saya keluhkan. Kalau soal pekerjaan drainase tidak di permasalahkan,” paparnya.
Sementara itu, pemberitaan terkait drainase bermasalah tersebut ternyata mendapat perhatian dari LSM anti korupsi. Terbukti, LSM Masyarakat Jaring Koruptor Sulut (MJKS) yang membaca pemberitaan itu langsung melakukan peninjauan ke lokasi drainase Jalan Hasanudin 19.
“Sebagai LSM, kami dari MJKS melakukan pengawasan dengan meninjau langsung di lokasi drainase yang dimaksud,” ujar Litbang MJKS Sarry Utho.
Namun, lanjutnya, hasil dari peninjauan lokasi ini disimpulkan bahwa drainase tersebut tidak bermasalah.
“Dari peninjauan ke lokasi draianse ternyata kami menemukan bahwa drainase itu tidak bermasalah,” katanya.
Bahkan tak hanya peninjauan di lokasi itu, MJKS juga bertemu langsung dengan AR.
“Kami bertemu dan menanyakan kepada AR soal statemennya di media online yang menyebut drainase di Jalan Hasanudin 19 tidak bermanfaat. Dan menurut AR yang dia sorot bukan soal drainase tapi masalah air PAM yang tidak mengalir ke rumah warga,” jelasnya. (JPc)
