MANADO, JP – Walikota Manado Andrei Angouw menerima kunjungan Miss Indonesia Audrey Venessa Susilo yang berasal dari Malalayang, Kota Manadi, Provinsi Sulawesi Utara, Rabu (28/09/2022) siang.
Miss Indonesia ini sebelumnya merupakan Nona Manado 2022 dan Miss Sulawesi Utara 2022 yang berhasil merebut predikat Miss Indonesia di Tahun 2022 ini. Audrey mengalahkan 36 finalis lainya yang berasal dari seluruh Provinsi di Indonesia.
Kehadiran Miss Indonesia menemui walikota Manado ikut didampingi kedua orang-tuanya serta Penasehat dan Anggota Dewan Pertimbangan Organisasi Ikatan Nyong dan Nona Manado (INNM) Irene Angouw Pinontoaan yang juga merupakan istri tercinta Walikota Manado.
Dalam silaturahmi dengan walikota, Miss Indonesia meminta dukungan, saran-saran kedepannya selama menyandang Miss Indonesia tahun 2022. Titel sebagai Miss Indonesia ini otomatis membuat Audrey jadi Wakil Indonesia di Miss World ke-71 nantinya. Dalam rangka ini juga Audrey pamitan kepada walikota untuk persiapan mengikuti Miss World tersebut.
Walikota sendiri mengucapkan selamat atas capaian Andrey selama ini sejak Nona Manado, Miss Sulawesi Utara hingga berhasil merebut Miss Indonesia di Tahun 2022 ini. Bagi Walikota hal ini tentunya merupakan kebanggaan bagi Sulawesi Utara dan tentunya bagi Kota Manado. Walikota berharap agar Audrey dapat mempersiapkan diri secara fisik dan mental spiritual sehinga dapat mengikuti dengan baik ajang Miss World nantinya.
